Well yes ...... is never ah dull moment wit me ...... it's as tho God is helping me along ..... with finding things tuh write about on this here blog! 
I never made it to UTT today ...... ah didn't have no water (surprise, surprise!) ....... den my lil sweetie came to visit me ..... before heading back tuh school tomorrow ...... den Kimberly (UTT) call meh ....... den water come back ...... den ah had tuh go an' full back everyting ...... blah, blah, blah ......
Anyway ..... after all ah dat ..... ah say leh meh go an put ah lil comment ..... on meh yesterday post ...... tuh say dat Kimberly finally call meh ...... when in mid type ..... ah start tuh hear ah strange noise ..... comin from behind meh ..... so with caution ..... I slowly turned around ..... to discover NOTHING ..... so I continue typing ..... but the noise persists ..... and it sounds like its getting closer .....
WELL LORD!!!!
I soon realised ..... dat de noise was comin from my ceiling!! ...... now I have a drop ceiling ..... like de kind in offices ...... so meh first instinct ..... was tuh jus open up one of de tiles ...... an' see what it is ...... but den de noise kept getting louder and louder ..... cuz whatever de hell it was ...... WAS MOVING!!! ...... and it wasn't ah 'footsteps' kinda noise eh ..... it was more like ah 'draggin sumting along' kinda noise ...... ah tell mehself ..... JESUS IN HEAVEN! ....... like it have ah snake in meh ceiling ..... so ah start tuh pray one time ....... den ah start tuh panic ....... den meh heart start tuh beat fass fass fass ...... cuz SOMETING really was in my ceiling ...... MOVING!!!
.... is inside dey ..... dat de something was walkin around!
So ah gather mehself ...... ah jump off de computer ..... ah run tuh de phone ...... an' ah call de Super (or whatever yuh does call dem in Trini) ...... tuh find out if by any chance ...... it have workmen on de roof of my apartment block ...... an' de man tell meh NO ...... well meh heart sink ..... cuz dat jus confirmed ..... dat de noise ...... really WAS coming from inside MY ceiling ..... and not on top de roof!!!
So ah tell him .... like it have sumtin walkin around in meh ceiling ..... well he buss out laughin ..... and den go bawl ...... "hmmmmm like yuh have ah Iguana in yuh roof" ...... cyah, cyah, cyah!! ....... big joke!! ...... cuz apparently just dis weekend ...... he DID see an Iguana .... on the roof of one of the other buildings ...... well yuh know I was not amused ..... cuz jus de thought ..... of ah living thing walking around in my ceiling ..... tuh me ...... was no laughing matter ...... anyway ...... luckily he happen tuh have two workmen doin stuff in his apartment ..... so he tell meh he will let dem come an' check it out ...... jus tuh ease meh anxiety (dat was so cracking him up) .....
Of course .... while waiting fuh de workmen tuh arrive now ..... Mr. Living Breathing Thing ..... is still walking around in the ceiling ...... all over de apartment ...... maybe likin heself ..... or maybe jus lookin fuh ah way out ..... altho heaven alone knows ..... how de hell he get eeeeen dey in de first place!!! ..... well I was just freakin out ...... cuz all I studyin is suppose while I sleepin tonight ...... IT fall out de ceiling .... ON ME!!! ..... ah start tuh make more phone calls like ah crazy woman ..... ah call ah man fren tuh come over ...... ah call meh mother ...... doh know why ..... cuz she quite tuh ass in NY ..... ah was jus dialin number!!!
Anyway ..... so one ah de workmen reach now ...... but of course ..... Murphy's Law ...... de noise stop!!! ....... eh heh ..... well about 2 minutes later ..... IT was walking around again ..... and as tho dis workman have ah trained ear or sumtin ...... de man ...... without even seein what it is ...... go bawl ...... yeah ...... dat soundin like ah IGUANA! ..... well I want tuh dead ...... cuz how de arse an Iguana get in my ceiling ...... so anyway ...... ah pull out meh ladder and torch light an' ting ..... and my boy went straight tuh work ..... cuz he was actually lil excited at de prospect of ketchin said Iguana (tuh go an' make ah cook) ...... so he follow de noise ...... and he open up ah tile close tuh where de noise stop ...... only tuh confirm dat it WAS in fact ah bloody Iguana ...... however ..... when he see de size of de creature (de body alone he say was about 20 inches long) ...... he get even more excited ..... an' he went an' call de nex workman tuh come an ketch it ...... cuz is actually de nex workman who know how tuh ketch 'Guana ....... and cook dem an' ting ..... which incidentally ...... he cooked some time last week!
Well bwoy ..... dat Iguana ..... eh play he run fuh he life ....... he run all over de apartment ...... de workman just couldn't nab him ...... eventually he run tru some hole .... and reach outside de apartment (but still stuck in de ceiling) ....... and run straight across tuh de adjoining apartment (meh neighbour) ......
Dis is when it end up in de ceiling outside de 2 adjoining apartments .... and da'is my boy ..... workman/Iguana cook ..... trying tuh ketch de Iguana ..... before it go in meh neighbour ceiling .....
..... and altho it eh evident in dat pic ..... when my boy realise dat his nex 'big cook' had somehow eluded him ...... ah coulda jus see de disappointment on his face ...... cuz like he did done sweeten up he chops eh ...... but ..... me on de odda hand ....... I was just livid ...... cuz how was I gonna sleep tonight knowin dat ah blasted Iguana lurkin around in my ceiling .......
Anyway ..... my neighbor wasn't home .... so they couldn't go in tuh try tuh ketch it ....... so it's still somewhere up there ...... my only consolation ..... is that it's just an Iguana ....... and not ah snake ....... or ah big rat (aka manicou) .... or ah human (aka ah bandit) ...... or sumtin worse (ET) ...... cuz I actually like Iguanas ..... well their colour ...... not necessarily their flavour!

I just heard the noise again ....... so he's back ...... he's back on my side now ...... on my porch ...... poor thing tho ...... cuz I guess he is really looking for a way out ...... but I cyah help him ..... cuz I eh goin up in dat ceilin ...... HELL NO!
So I just called the Super again .... tuh update him ...... and tuh let him know ....... that I'd like his workmen tuh return to my apartment tomorrow ...... with all necessary tools ..... tuh once an' fuh all lick up Mr. Iguana!
I'm sensing that this is not THE END of this story ......

that happen to us some years ago with an iguana in the roof!! Talk about annoying. I used to take the broomstick and try to scare it but it really never took me on. Eventually it left. When u living in the bush u does get all kinds of things...i have a gecko living in my room. Actually I don't mind it because he/she eats those nasty bugs so that is good.
What I don't get is how excited ppl get when they here u have an iguana like their mouth starts to water one time. Personally I never ate iguana but I hear the meat is sweet. I'll just stick to my domesticated animals for now...

Lord is only de fuss week ah de new year and all dese tings happening? What March and April go bring ah wondering. Anyway I just find out dat it have people who does keep iguanas fuh pets so start picking out ah name as ah tink it have a new pet in de house or ceiling.
And by de way, my money was betting dat it was de workman from de larse time who decide ah better way tuh woo yuh was tuh start in yuh ceiling and work he way dong tuh yuh heart. RFLAO.

Its DAY 2 of ..... Story of a trapped (possibly senile) Iguana ..... and just when I thought things were OK ..... as in ...... because ah eh hear him fuh de mornin ...... maybe he got out on his own .......

Well Scene, LMAO!!! But I understand. Frankly, I think you're very brave. Cause if it was me, I was out the door and not returning until that "thing" was gone. No no way I was staying in that apartment with some animal crawling around in the ceiling. I hope somebody catch him, because how will you be sure that he wont be back???
